This takes me back to the time I volunteered in a haunted house while in college. Not exactly an escape room, but these situations do give actors a peek into the psychology of fear. People say and do things differently than normal when under duress. (I was stationed in a pitch-black maze, in my snug hockey mask and holding a pen light and a fake knife, waiting for the right moment to jump out.)
