This screams at me. As you mention, some days are better than others, but DAMN does this resonate! I have a gazillion unfinished articles on my desktop. Depending on the day, I feel I can either publish immediately, or trash the entire thing and start over.

Luckily, I keep everything. Although it may take days or even weeks, I'll return to any given trash heap with a new idea and suddenly it's not as much of a waste as I once thought. I'm pretty sure patience of part of the key.
