Quite the story, Sean! Kudos for reliving those less-than-stellar moments. We all know ourselves better than anyone else, and sometimes it takes a three-meltdown day to learn our limitations.

Personally, your story has strengthened my vow to myself: I prefer to date childfree women, but if I choose to date a single mother, she'd have a good relationship with her progeny and they're be college-aged or older. I'm a tolerant guy, but the long-term requirements of being a parent or parent-adjacent is just not on my radar.
