It was decades before I finally took the plunge and signed up for swing dance lessons. That was a dozen years ago and I've never looked back. I was never one of those "guys guy" men, but it still took a while before I was able to banish the self-conscious demon and truly enjoy my time on the dance floor.

Once someone reaches a point where they have enough confidence to not care what others think, it's a beautiful thing. I'm no expert, ut I've seen it in myself and many others. Your words above sum up this concept nicely.
