As someone without kids – and no plans to have any - I’m happy to report I’ve never even thought of uttering any of that nonsense to a parent. People make their choices and live their lives, and in my experience, no one likes unsolicited advice, be they parent or childfree.

For what it’s worth, I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with such short-sightedness.

And yeah, I’m still not used to the term “side-hustle.” Even wrote an article about it.
