Throughout history, many accidents have been developed into machines, building materials, toys, and even snack foods. If not for those intrepid souls and their entrepreneurial spirit, we might not have this plateful of the most popular snack foods on the market today.

Cheese

Early documentation shows that around 2000 B.C., the Egyptians were storing animal milk in bags made from animal skins, usually while traveling. The hot sun, fermentation time, and the galloping or swaying motion of the burdened animals would separate the milk into curds and whey. Nomadic Arabs discovered that draining the curds and adding a bit of salt would produce a light snack, in addition to drinking the whey (thus experimenting way long before Miss Muffet showed up).
