One of the norms we are still conditioned to believe is that good women don’t really like sex and only do it for men and to have children. Men, on the other hand, always want sex and need to constantly “sow their wild oats.” This leads to men being praised for their sexual conquests, while women who have sex are stigmatized as unnatural and as sluts.

As usual, your writing and research are excellent throughout the article, but this particular paragraph stood out to me. This double standard sounds more idiotic every time I encounter it.
People are people, with different levels of sexual experience and desire. Why can' t the Neanderthals leave this fact damned well alone? If it's not hurting anyone (and it's not), who cares? Makes me embarrassed for my gender.
